About the Winemakers:

Xavier Vignon, originating from Picardy, is a pioneer of terroirs and a dedicated follower of science and reason. Despite initially pursuing a scientific career as an oenologist, he couldn't ignore his family's winemaking heritage. During a decade-long exploration of France's wine regions, Champagne and Bordeaux left a lasting impression on him. Motivated by a passion for blending, a desire for freedom, and unwavering standards, Vignon embarked on building his own winemaking project, drawing from personal experiences and encounters.

Not content with domestic exploration, Vignon sought adventure and decided to challenge himself with dual vinifications in both hemispheres. Over seven years, he cultivated vines in the northern hemisphere in early Autumn and then in the southern hemisphere, gaining valuable insights from New Zealand, Tasmania, and Australia on large volumes and modern production methods. Throughout his journey, Vignon's approach has been shaped by a humanist spirit deeply rooted in the omnipresent French art-de-vivre.
