An Evening with Walla Walla Vintners

Join us on March 25 at 6:00 PM at Maximilien for an intimate winemaker dinner featuring the celebrated wines of Walla Walla Vintners. Owner Scott Haladay will guide guests through the evening, sharing insights into the winery’s three decades of history, its estate vineyards in Walla Walla, and its commitment to sustainable Washington winemaking.

Chef Fidel Mendoza has created a refined French menu to complement each wine, from cold-smoked salmon with caviar and buckwheat blini, to citrus lobster salad, quail stuffed with foie gras, and tournedos bordelaise with bone marrow, finishing with a curated selection of cheeses. An elegant evening of fine dining, thoughtful pairings, and conversation awaits, all set against Maximilien’s sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.

About WW Vintners:

Walla Walla Vintners, one of the region’s earliest bonded wineries, was established in 1995 and remains family owned under Scott Haladay. Rooted in the Walla Walla Valley, the winery farms its Cut Bank Estate and Blooming Branch vineyards and sources from top sites in The Rocks District, Red Mountain, and the Columbia Valley. Producing about 15,000 cases annually under winemaker Derrek Vipond, the portfolio focuses on Bordeaux and Rhône varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Sangiovese, and Syrah, expressing the depth and diversity of this celebrated appellation.

The wines are organized into three collections: the approachable Cornerstone Series, the expressive Foundation Series, and the limited Elevation Series highlighting estate and high-elevation bottlings. LIVE certified, Salmon Safe, and part of Sustainable Washington, the winery emphasizes environmental stewardship and long-term vineyard health. Blending three decades of history with continued innovation, Walla Walla Vintners crafts wines deeply rooted in place and reflective of Washington’s finest terroirs.
