Dineen Vineyards Winemaker Dinner

WED. SEPTEMBER 30 - 6pm and 6:15pm

Join us for an evening with Dineen Vineyards!

Join us on Wednesday, September 30 at 6 PM for a special Dineen Vineyards Winemaker Dinner, celebrating one of Washington’s distinctive estate vineyards and the wines of the Rattlesnake Hills.

Located on a hilltop near Zillah in the Yakima Valley, Dineen Vineyards began in 2001 when Pat and Lanie Dineen transformed a 12-acre apple orchard into a vineyard, later expanding by another 80 acres. Today, the family estate is dedicated to wines that express its high-elevation site, distinctive soils, and farming heritage.

For this dinner, Chef Fidel Mendoza has created a four-course menu specifically paired with Dineen wines, moving from Cabernet Franc with seared scallops to Heritage Red Blend with braised beef cheeks, Condriesque with cheese, and Syrah with chocolate and blackberry.

Joining us for the evening will be Dineen owner Marissa Dineen, who will present the wines and share the story behind the vineyard, its terroir, and their approach to producing wines entirely from the Dineen estate.

All of this for $99 per guest, including wine pairings, an exceptional evening of Washington wine, French cuisine, conversation with the vinter, and sweeping views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains.

About Dineen Vineyards:

Dineen Vineyards sits at approximately 1,200 feet in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, where abundant sunshine encourages ripeness while cool nights help preserve freshness and build flavor. Its soils are part of the ancient Ellensburg Formation, a complex mix of sandstone, siltstone, river rock and other sedimentary material that contributes to the vineyard’s distinctive character.

Farming remains at the heart of Dineen. The estate practices regenerative farming and is certified under both Sustainable WA and Lodi Rules. In 2022, Pat and Lanie passed ownership and management to their daughter Marissa Dineen, continuing the vineyard into its next generation.

About Marissa Dineen

Marissa Dineen is the second-generation owner and vintner of Dineen Vineyards, a 100% estate vineyard and winery in Washington’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA. After more than two decades in international financial services, much of it spent in Europe, she returned to Washington and joined the family business full-time in 2020.

Today, Marissa combines her international perspective with deep Washington roots, championing sustainable farming and the distinctive wines of the Rattlesnake Hills. She also serves as Chairperson of The Hills Winegrowers Association and on the board of the Auction of Washington Wines.
